Our guests line up in the back of the church. They stay in their vehicles and wait for one of our registration team members to come and check them in.
This team will register all our guests and man the parking lot to keep the flow of traffic moving.
This is the first team you will see on the other side of the parking lot where we start to hand out food. Here they offer whatever dairy is available that day including milk, cheese, eggs, etc.
Our produce team sorts and distributes the vegetables. They make boxes and slide them down the tables to fill them up with all those delicious good for you greens and what not. Most weeks we have potatoes, citrus, berries, and whatever other in season vegetables we get at that time. It is not the same every week.
Our dry goods team puts together another set of boxes that include your canned and boxed goods. This may look like pastas, cereals, diced tomatoes, green beans, etc.
It runs pretty smoothly thanks to our directors and all of our volunteers.

This is what it looks like when the cars start to line up for us to start the distribution at 8am on Mondays.
We try to fit in as many vehicles as possible without causing any issues with traffic flow on the main road. We are only able to take so many cars at a time but we have a process in place that works well to keep those cars moving.
